JAGIII – Psychedelic Illustrator

JAGIII (John Anthony Giemzik III) was born in Chicago and raised in the south suburbs. Since 1996, he has been a vibrant force in the underground art scene. His distinct style captivates audiences across generations, with influences from R. Crumb (Fritz the Cat), Don Martin (MAD Magazine), and Ed "Big Daddy" Roth (Rat Fink). Best known for his complex, colorful ink and marker illustrations, JAGIII often features smiling, cartoonish faces that morph and blend in surreal, playful compositions. His art pulses with whimsical energy, bringing intricate detail and vivid imagination to life. While ink and marker remain his primary mediums, he occasionally ventures into digital art and painting. Now more prolific than ever, JAGIII continues to push artistic boundaries, creating work that resonates with underground art veterans and new fans alike. With each piece, he solidifies his place as a key figure in contemporary psychedelic illustration.
