Highly acclaimed and loved by young and old alike, Chicago born
illustrater and painter, John Anthony Giemzik III, has been a major
player in the underground art scene for over a decade. His self taught, urban-organic style has been imitated by many but duplicated by none.

Influenced by such iconic figures as M.C. Escher and R. Crumb, John
creates complex atmospheres which are whimsical, thought provoking and delightfully bizarre.

There has never been a more exciting time to join the JAG III
experience. John is more prolific than ever with an endless surplus of
imagination. Get on board, fasten your seat belts and enjoy the crazy
cool ride.

IN THE BEGINNING...

"Brain to Paper"
Once upon a time a drunk, but inspired, JAGIII stumbled into a drugstore and bought a poster board and some cheap markers. For the next several years, John, through many relocations and life style changes, completed his first framable work of art in a cramped basement apartment on the north side of Chicago on Christmas Eve 1996. The rest... of course... is history.
